Like the Johnson Viking 500, the 75A-4 was a dream receiver in the day. This receiver was an Ebay find, and it is in excellent condition. The seller had knowledge of the previous owner who was meticulous in caring for his radio gear. It did need the controls cleaned, and new electrolytics cured the light hum in the speaker. It works welll on SSB, AM and CW but is inline to change out the "7 deadly capacitors" known to the receiver.
